 | The Ashcombe Volleyball Centre is a purpose built sports hall with 2 match courts on a sprung taraflex floor. This is the first purpose built Volleyball Centre in England. The Ashcombe School will have full use of the sports centre for school and extra-curricular activities and the links between school and club will be further developed through volleyball clubs aimed at both Ashcombe students and youngsters from other local schools. |
| DIRECTIONS:
From M25 East and West: Leave at
Junction 9 and follow the A24 South towards Dorking. Proceed over 5
roundabouts following the signs for A24 Dorking. At first set of traffic
lights [Dorking Station] turn right into Ashcombe Rd. The Ashcombe School is
on left. Take 3rd entrance into The Ashcombe School and
immediately right into top car park. The sports hall is situated at the back
of the school and accessed via a path around the right of the main school
building. From
North or South A24: Take A24
from London [North] or Worthing/Horsham [South] and follow to Dorking, at
traffic lights opposite Dorking Station follow instructions as above. Train Dorking and Dorking Deepdene Stations are situated on A.24 opposite The Ashcombe School. Exit either station, turn right and cross over A24. Turn left into Ashcombe Rd and follow directions above to the sports centre.

The Ashcombe Volleyball Centre is home to Ashcombe Volleyball Club, Sussex Volleyball Club and is the Surrey and South East Development Centre. It is envisaged that new clubs will be formed at the centre for juniors and adult beginners, both men and women, as well as local and National League standard players. Existing clubs are welcome to book the centre and share this fantastic opportunity to develop volleyball in the South East.
| As well as a central show match court or 2 match courts, the hall has the net facility for 4 smaller training courts making it an excellent training venue and centre for tournaments for juniors and seniors. |
| Everything is supplied for volleyball. Posts, nets, ariels, referee stands, post padding, electronic score board, team benches, Club room for refreshments, etc. |

| The hall is often fully booked during the week for most of the year but weekend and school holiday bookings are being taken. |
